Reported Crop Circles for the State of Illinois -

University of Illinois – Urbana-Champaign, Champaign County (October 3, 2003)

A 25’ diameter circle in corn located in the historical Morrow Plots research fields next to the observatory on the campus of the University of Illinois.

Centered on a tramline for access, the circle was found after an anonymous letter was sent to the campus newspaper by someone claiming to have witnessed a UFO making it. A likely hoax. Campus officials did not allow investigators access.
